Black Forest Hot Cocoa

Spiked hot chocolate to warm up any winter's day!


  • ⅔ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ⅔ part Cupcake Vineyards Black Forest
  • ½ part milk
  • ½ part half and half
  • ⅛ part sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • splash vanilla extract


  1. Combine the chocolate chips, Cupcake Vineyards Black Forest, milk, half and half, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate chips are melted and the mixture is hot.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt.
  4. Pour into mugs and serve.
